At Hotel Riviera we are committed to working with the highest standards of safety and comfort, to provide our guests with the best experiences.
For the reopening of the Hotel Riviera, and based on the guidelines of the DGS - General Directorate of Health, the WHO - World Health Organization, as well as Turismo de Portugal, we redefined and implemented a set of new policies and procedures, which aim to ensure the well-being of all our customers and employees.
We invested heavily in training all teams in new prevention and hygiene practices and procedures.
WHAT PREVENTION AND HYGIENE MEASURES ARE BEING APPLIED AT THE RIVIERA HOTEL?
- Mandatory use of protective masks in all indoor common areas of the hotel; its use is also recommended in outdoor areas and around the pool.
- Maintain the minimum social distance recommended by the DGS of 1.5 meters between people, and avoid crowds and intersections, respecting the directions of circulation, which are duly signposted.
- Frequent use of the alcohol gel dispensers, available throughout the hotel, is strongly recommended.
- We recommend that you avoid using cash as a form of payment, preferring electronic payment, such as pre-payment by bank transfer or in-person payment via debit card using, preferably, the contactless option ;
-We recommend that you go to Reception to prepare your check out in advance (preferably the day before)
- Recommended limited use of the elevator (Maximum capacity of 2 Pax ).
- Breakfast can be served in your room or in the hotel restaurant, this choice being made at the time of check-in. Please inform/change your preference at reception by 11 pm. Advance reservation is required.
- In the restaurant, all services have been reorganized and are subject to mandatory pre-booking, avoiding crowds and ensuring mandatory social distancing;
- Restructuring and strengthening of cleaning plans, in all areas and surfaces, increasing frequency of cleaning common areas and objects, such as elevators, handles, sofas, chairs, tables, glass, etc.
- Use of certified cleaning products and disinfectants;
- Clothing treatment in accordance with the recommendations of the DGS - General Directorate of Health;
- Regular ventilation of all common areas;
- We have a specific area for isolation in suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19, with natural ventilation, bathroom, personal protective equipment such as surgical masks and disposable gloves, as well as a thermometer, waste bags and bags for collecting used clothing;
- We will always have a staff member responsible for activating procedures in the event of suspected infection, providing the necessary assistance and contacting the SNS - National Health Service (808 24 24 24);
- All our employees are familiar with the new safety and hygiene guidelines, validated by Turismo de Portugal through the “ Clean & Safe ” seal, and have received additional training so that they can safely carry out the new measures implemented;
